Motorcycle prices rise fifth time in 2021

Motorcycle prices have once against increased—fifth times this year—by Rs 1000 to Rs 15,00 per bike, reported 24NewsHD TV channel

Abdullah Shari of Motorcycle Dealer Alliance said that the price of a motorcycle has been increased by Rs1000 to Rs15,00 every month.

He said that motorcycle sales have dropped by 60 percent due to inflation.

Abdullah Shari said the rise in the value of the dollar and import costs have pushed up the prices of motorcycles.

As per the revised rates, the price of a Honda 70cc motorcycle without registration is Rs Rs89,500 while China's 70cc motorcycle is available without registration at Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000.

This year, the price of Honda 70cc has increased by 6500. China's 70cc motorcycle also went up by Rs 6,500 this year.

The price of Honda's 125cas increased from Rs. 138,000 to Rs. 145,000.
