A man allegedly killed his teen daughter in the name of honour in a Punjab town, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The tragedy took place in Mian Channu where, according to police, a man flew into fury as her daughter refused to budge over having a relationship.

The deceased was identified as 16-year-old Samreen. Police reached the crime scene while the accused is on the loose.

Lawmen sent the body for post-mortem and launched an investigation.
