Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi along with IG Punjab Dr Usman Tuesday paid a visit to the civil hospital Sialkot without protocol, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The CM ordered an inquiry against a policeman and a private guard on the complaint of a woman during his visit to the hospital.

The woman said that the accused policeman and guard had stolen her money. Both of the accused were arrested and a case was filed after the inquiry revealed their theft.

IG Punjab said that departmental action will be taken against the policeman and he will be terminated afterwards.

The woman was in the hospital for the treatment of her drug-addict husband. A cooking job and monthly rent of her house was also arranged by Punjab CM.

Mohsin Naqvi said that he visited the only hospital in the city and found out that sufficient facilities to accommodate the public are not available.

He said that he will visit the hospital again and make sure the facilities needed are being provided.

Mohsin Naqvi said that all the patients, despite the lack of facilities, are being provided the necessary medical aid and medicines free of cost. The condition of the hospital will be made better as it is the state’s responsibility.
