Patrolling police Jahanian seize 160kg dead meat

The patrolling police in Pervaiz Wala Jahanian Wednesday seized 160kgs of putrid beef of dead cows being smuggled to Multan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The patrol in-charge said that they stopped up a suspicious van and found 160kgs of foul-smelling meat being taken to Multan.

Action was taken against the driver Shehbaz and the butcher Sakhawat as the veterinary assistant superintendent Dr Talha Zahoor branded the meat harmful for health.

The patrolling police handed the accused over to Jahanian police along with the foul meat. They filed a case against the suppliers and assured strict legal action against them.
