The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has got the go-ahead for a public meeting on September 8, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
The permission was given at the request of the regional president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Amir Masood Mughal The district administration allowed the PTI to hold the public meeting at Sangjani and set more than 40 conditions.
According to the terms and conditions, this gathering will not disturb or disrupt the fundamental rights of citizens and no damage will be caused to the public or private property and in case of any damage, the organizer will be held responsible.
The organizers will take responsibility that the participants will not illegally move beyond the identified boundary of the venue while the meeting will start at 4:00 pm and culminate at 7:00 pm.
No object of lethal or non-lethal force including batons of any size would be wielded by any participant and the attendees won’t indulge in violence or clashes. In case of any such incident, the organizers will be held responsible.
The permission is for public gatherings and permission for sit-in is not granted. The organizers are bound to ensure that the participants do not spend the night or subsequent nights there and dispersed peacefully.
The organizers are made responsible for the conduct and safety of all participants while the list of attendees will be shared with the local police.
Anti-state, anti-religious, or anti-ideology of Pakistan slogans or speeches will be disallowed. Effigy/flag of any political or religious party will not be burnt. The use of decks/speakers will comply with the provisions of West Pakistan Amplifier Ordinance 1965 and religious sensitivity must be held sacred.
The traffic management and parking plan of ICT Police will be followed.
For the safety of the general public and maintenance of law and order at the venue, the ICT Police and law enforcement agencies will not be obstructed from scanning and searching any vehicle/ person. The search of the participants at the entry of the venue will be the joint responsibility of the organizers and ICT Police.
Participants will only be allowed inside the venue after a thorough security check. The organizer will be responsible for any human injury/ health issue caused inside the venue due to internal arrangements.
Clear right-of-way for fire brigades, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles/personnel will be ensured by the organizers. No intoxicant or any banned substance for consumption will be served/allowed at the venue. An adequate number of walkthrough gates will be installed at entry points of the venue.
Details of Private Security arrangements will be provided by the Organizers to the SSP (Operations), ICT,12 hours before the start of the gathering.
CCTV cameras will be installed at the venue by the organizers and the location of the cameras and the control room will be intimated to the ICT Administration.
The NOC can be cancelled at any time in case of any security situation.
