Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday said that portfolios’ reshuffling was nothing but just an ‘accountability drama’.
In a tweet, she said accountability must be started from Primer Minister Imran Khan and Punjab CM Usman Buzdar. “All the decisions made in the cabinet and ECC was given a go-ahead by the PM Khan.”
“People would not be fooled by this accountability drama. When NAB would arrest premier Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, that would be the real accountability.”

She also said that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif to chair party meeting at 2pm via video link to discuss the agriculture demands in the country. The agri experts would also attend the meeting.

Earlier, PML-N spokesperson said the federal government should “concentrate” on providing doctors and paramedical staff with personal protective equipment (PPE), instead of “slinging mud” on former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and party president Shehbaz Sharif.
On Monday, in a significant cabinet reshuffle, Prime Minister Imran Khan changed portfolios of over half a dozen members including Minister for National Food Security Khusro Bakhtiar.
The reshuffle was made just two days after an FIA inquiry exposed the involvement of some stalwarts of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in the wheat flour and sugar crises.
Khuro Bakhtiar’s portfolio was changed from National Food Security to Economic Affairs, while Syed Fakhar Imam, who chairs the Kashmir Committee of Parliament, was made Minister for National Food Security.
The report, in addition to ruling bigwigs, also named Maryam Nawaz’s daughter’s father-in-law Chaudhry Munir as the beneficiaries of the artificial sugar and wheat crisis.
