The Punjab Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department has issued advisory regarding Shab-e-Barat gatherings in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.

According to the advisory, no gathering will be allowed at the mosques. People will worship at homes individually. The decision was made after taking all schools of thought clerics into confidence, said the advisory.

The department urged the people to stay at homes and pray for the country to get rid of the coronavirus. The department said the decision was taken to contain the spread of coronavirus in the country.
