Punjab government Friday announced to pay the salary and pension to all the serving and retired employees on April 17.  
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Punjab Government has issued an order to release salary and pension for the month of April to all government employees on April 17 due to Eid-ul-Fitr.
As per the channel report, Punjab Finance Department has also issued a notification of paying the advance salaries and pensions to its employees.
