Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan reiterated the party's stance demanding a postponement of the election for the chairman and deputy chairman of senate slots until senate elections would not take place in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, in a press briefing outside Adiala Jail on Saturday, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan unveiled founding party chairman Imran Khan's intentions to pursue legal action against the NAB Chairman and approvers, seeking damages.
He expressed skepticism regarding the government’s assertion that Bushra Bibi was not poisoned, insisting on conducting tests at Shaukat Khanum Hospital for confirmation.
The PTI chairman echoed the sentiment of the founding party chairman Imran Khan, likening the present circumstances to those of 1971.
He voiced apprehension over recent electoral setbacks and urged for PTI to be granted the opportunity to fulfill its role as a robust opposition in legislative assemblies.
Furthermore, PTI Chairman disclosed that Barrister Ali Zafar has been nominated as the candidate for the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, as declared by PTI's leadership.
