The government has now made it binding on its departments and the law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) not to use prefixes like ‘Hafiz’ or 'Mufti’ before any Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militant’s name, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

In a letter, the Ministry of Interior has said that since the TTP militants have already been declared ‘Khawarij’, so, therefore, the same word should be used for each and every militant in each and every document and references.

The letter has also been sent to the chief secretaries of all four provinces of the country.
