A powerful explosion rocked the Sindh High Court (SHC) building on Wednesday morning, damaging several walls and breaking windowpanes, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Security sources at the SHC building confided to 24News TV channel that the blast appeared to be caused by a gas leakage in the canteen of the new bar room of the court.
The explosion was so powerful that it cracked all the windowpanes of the bar room and the canteen.
The SHC security team immediately called in the bomb disposal squad for screening the area.
Rs10 million dacoity
Ten million rupees were looted in a major dacoity incident in Karachi District East.
The victim was travelling on a motorcycle after drawing the huge amount from a bank when the dacoits intercepted him and looted the hard cash.
The case of the dacoity was lodged at the Ferozabad police station.
