Popular Pakistani fashion designer and social activist Maria Butt has declared that she had still way toward court against ‘Barzakh’ despite the team announcing the withdrawal of the series.
Maria. B recently took to her Instagram handle and shared a story to address Zindagi Productions for removing ‘Barzakh’ from YouTube Pakistan and questioned “Who are you fooling?”. The social activist further stated that we are still going to court.
She added a hadith into the upload that reads: “What I fear the most from my ummah is the behavior of the people of Lut”.
Maria. B furthered in the post: “Those who are defending ‘Barzakh’ we look forward to see you on the day of qiamat…facing Hazrat Muhammad SAW, I will face all your hate alone if I have to. But will not let you to make a mockery of Islam. You are gay? Great. Be in your bedrooms. Don’t put it out on media to destroy our kids.”
In case readers are not aware, earlier this week Maria. B had announced to file a case against the ongoing controversial web series ‘Barzakh’ in court because the series tried to promote the LGBTQ agenda, normalized pre-marital sex, and showed themes promoting sexual grooming in children.
After a lot of backlash from Muslim society, Zindagi production made their way to remove ‘Barzakh’ from YouTube Pakistan which is not still satisfying the Muslim community.
Barzakh' is a new series directed by Asim Abbasi featuring Fawad Khan, Sanam Saeed, Salman Shahid, and others in the cast. The series has a mystical element to it and the story is disclosing itself with each new episode of the drama serial.
