Seven-year-old boy sexually assaulted, killed in Lahore

A seven-year-old child was killed after sexual abuse. His throat was slit. 

Police have arrested the key accused, but other culprits managed to escape.

According to details, the accused informed the parents of seven-year-old Ahsan about the presence of the body of their son in the Green Town area of Lahore, claiming that the child was killed in a road mishap.

His body was shifted to a hospital where a post-mortem report showed that the child was sexually abused before his throat was slit with a sharp-edged weapon.

The police on information provided by parents arrested the accused who in the preliminary investigation revealed that he along with other accomplices sexually assaulted the child before killing him.

Meanwhile, Inspector General of Punjab Police Inam Ghani took notice of the incident and sought a report from the Lahore capital city police officer. He also ordered provision of justice to the family of the victim child on a priority basis.

The police have registered a case and started raids to arrest accomplices of the culprit.
