Finance Adviser to Prime Minister Abdul Razzaq Dawood has said that Samsung has started manufacturing 50,000 TV sets in collaboration with a Pakistani company.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, in the next two years, the company will increase the production of TV sets to 100,000.
Dawood said the international brand in electronics has teamed up with a Pakistani company to make TV sets and this is the result of the ‘Make in Pakistan’ policy of the government.
He said that all Pakistani companies should make partnerships with prominent global companies. He also congratulated the Samsung Electronics Company on the commissioning of the first TV lineup plant in Pakistan.
