Federal government has approved 120-day leave of Punjab Chief Secretary Kamran Ali Afzal and handed over the current charge of the chief secretary to Muhammad Abdullah Khan for the period of three months, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The current charge of the Punjab chief secretary has been given to Chairman of Planning and Development, and Pakistan Administrative Service Muhammad Abdullah, who is a 21-grade officer.
Establishment Division has issued a notification after getting approval from Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
