Talented Pakistani actress Ushna Shah took to ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) and shared a long note to request the social media users to stop mocking her husband over his resemblance to a character called Homelander.
She seemed upset about the people passing on comments on her husband and family online. She requested everyone to stay away from them.
In a heartfelt message, she asked everyone to be kind and avoid discussing her family.
The ‘Habs’ actress told the netizens that most of the time she said to her husband that he resembles the Homelander but it’s their stuff no one else is about to say that.
Here are the words stated by the lady:
“Sis, I agree that he does resemble the actor who plays Homelander; I've always told him so. He's a good-looking guy! I love Homelander but he’s a pretty nasty character, & I don't think you meant it as a compliment, especially considering the replies to your post. So do you think perhaps we could refrain from involving the family in-jokes or comments?”
She explained that her husband didn't sign up for the attention she received, and her post was meant to celebrate a special occasion her husband's first Umrah and prayers for Palestine.
She emphasized that while criticism towards her was okay, she wanted to protect her family from any unkindness, even if it seemed harmless.
“My husband didn’t sign up for all this; I did. My post is about celebrating his first Umrah and prayers for Palestine, which was the purpose of my visit. I'm sure you meant no harm and this was just humor. But please consider my request: come at me all you want, but not the people I love, not even in a seemingly harmless way. It hurts my soul to see any unkindness towards them.
In the end, she sent love to everyone, hoping they would understand and respect her feelings. And they all lived happily ever after, treating each other with kindness and understanding.
“Sending you love.”
