Thai traditional dance performances leave spectators mesmerised

The Thai traditional Khon and Lakhon nai and Fawn Thai dance performances on Tuesday night left the spectators mesmerized during the reception hosted by the Royal Thai Embassy in Islamabad.
The reception was organized by the Embassy of Thailand in connection with the national day of Thailand. A large number of guests from social, political and diplomatic walks of life participated in the reception.
Adviser to Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah was the chief guest on the occasion. At the opening of the reception, Thai and Pakistani national anthems were played.
Addressing the ceremony, the Charge d Affairs of Royal Thai Embassy, Islamabad, Ms Kamol Wan Sriposil disclosed that the ties between Thailand and Pakistan will get boost in the coming days, as Pak-Thai mutual ties witnessed the element of stability and growth in 2024.
Our mutual ties, Ms Kamol Wan Sriposil added, remained good in the fields of trade, investment and cultural exchanges. Whereas the talks are continue regarding the Free Trade Agreement.
While addressing, the Adviser to the Prime Minister, Rana Sanaullah highlighted that Thailand is among the top countries of Asia Pacific when it comes to rapid development. “We are trying to boost our mutual trade,” he said.
“Pakistan and Thailand want peace and development in the region and are partners in countering the global challenge of climate change,” Rana added.
During the reception, ambassadors of the Asia Pacific countries, host charge’d affairs and the chief guest cut the cake and made the hand-chain.
The event was followed by the cultural dance performances by the Thai. The performances were highly appreciated. The traditional Thai “Fawn “ and “Khon and Lakhon nai” dances deeply engaged the spectators leaving them mesmerized. The balanced moves with the impressive Thai melodies remained the center of the attraction.
