The Balochistan government has decided to upgrade tourist resort Hanna Lake by providing modern facilities and improving infrastructure.

Hanna Lake is a recreational place situated in Urak valley near Quetta city.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal directed the officials to devise a master plan for the development of Hanna Lake.

The provincial secretary communications and Quetta deputy commissioner will consult the local population on the proposed plan.

The chief minister regretted over the accumulation of silt in the lake and directed the departments concerned to implement the joint action plan for upgrading Hanna Lake.

In the upcoming budget, special focus will be paid to improvement of infrastructure, real estate and tourism.

More funds will be allocated in the upcoming budget for ongoing projects to ensure its timely completion.
