Imran Khan cross-examined in defamation case against Kh Asif

Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday appeared in the district and sessions court in Islamabad via a video link in connection with the defamation case worth Rs10 billion he had filed against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and now Defence Minister Khawaja Asif 10 years ago, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.   

Asif’s lawyers, on the occasion, cross-examined Imran with respect to the statement he had made in the court a year ago. 

Later the court adjourned hearing of the case until September 10.
