The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced on Thursday that selected branches of the banks will remain open on July 8 (Friday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The State Bank certified that only those branches will remain open which are located near the cattle markets, trade centres and ports.
Also, on Friday (tomorrow) consumers will not be able to get clearance services via RTGS and NEFT.
NEFT stands for National Electronic Funds Transfer whereas RTGS is short for Real-Time Gross Settlement.
The SBP earlier announced that banks will remain closed from July 8 to July 12, 2022 (Friday to Tuesday) on account of the Eidul Azha holidays.
