A special flight of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Saturday brought to Peshawar at least 250 Pakistanis stranded in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The PIA flight also brought back bodies of 20 Pakistanis who had died recently in Saudi Arabia.
Raja Ali Ejaz, ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the community welfare attaché at the Pakistani Embassy were present at the airport to see off the Pakistanis leaving for Peshawar. At least 1,684 Pakistanis have returned home from Saudi Arabia so far by special flights of the PIA.
The Pakistani government is operating special flights to various countries to bring back the stranded Pakistanis. Prime Minister Imran Khan had said a few days ago that all Pakistanis stranded abroad would be brought back at any cost.
