The ministry of religious affairs is likely to face difficulties in Hajj preparations as the Hajj policy has not been announced so far, reported 24 News HD TV channel on Monday.
The Saudi government has not announced the Hajj policy 2021 so far and there are few chances of allowing pilgrims from outside of Saudi Arabia this year.
The ministry of religious affairs sources said that the ministry was confused over the matter of Hajj. They said that preparations needed a considerable time period after the announcement of the policy.
Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Noor-ul-Haq Qadri in his interview a couple of days ago told that Saudi Arabia had not announced Hajj policy for this year yet, however, Pakistan keeps complete arrangements to send limited pilgrims for Hajj.
He said the Pakistan government was in contact with Saudi authorities and they also wanted to take major Muslim countries in confidence before the final decision.
He said Saudi Arabia was making strict SOPs to check the spread of coronavirus during Hajj, and Pakistan would ensure the implementation of the SOPs.
