Shehbaz for impartial inquiry into train accident

Opposition leader in National Assembly and PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif has expressed his deep regret and sorrow over the tragic incident of the collision of two trains near Ghutki in which as many as 36 people died and more than 70 injured, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
The PML-N president in a statement released in Lahore on Monday expressed his heartfelt condolences and grief over the loss of several precious lives in the fatal collision of Sir Syed Express and Millat Express at Dherki Railway Station.
Sharif sympathized and bemoaned the loss of bereaved families.
He asked the concerned authorities why they didn’t bother to fix the condition of Sukkur division rail tracks which was dilapidated on 13 points according to a written report already sent to the railways authorities. He said it was criminal negligence on the part of authorities.
He lamented that the present reign was being regarded as a reign of train accidents. He demanded a truthful and impartial inquiry into the incident and also asked for stern punishment against the responsible persons.
He prayed that the souls of the deceased may rest in peace and also prayed for the early recovery of those who sustained injuries.
