Kartik Aaryan's interesting hashtag to 'ex-girlfriend' Sara Ali Khan

Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan’s on-screen couple caught a lot of limelight during their film, Love Aaj Kal 2’s release and promotions, also for their implicit relationship which unfortunately broke up for reasons best known to them. Lately, Kartik has grabbed massive attention for his very interesting dedication of a song to former girlfriend Sara Ali Khan.

In a recent interaction with Filmygyan, Kartik Aaryan played a game where he assigned one-word hashtags to a few actors from the film industry. Among others, he was asked about the one phrase he would give to his ex-GF and former co-star, Sara Ali Khan. Before making his response, the actor contemplated a bit and then named ‘O Mehrama’ to the actress.

For the unversed, this was the name of the popular romantic track which featured both Sara and Kartik in the film, Love Aaj Kal 2.

Earlier, when Sara Ali Khan graced Koffee With Karan 8, she discussed her broken relationship with Kartik Aaryan and remarked it has been difficult for her to stay friends with her ex-beau. However, later, during a conversation with Anupama Chopra, Kartik reacted to the necessity of the relationship being kept private at all times. He expressed: “Ek cheez mujhe lagti hai – relationship agar do logo ki hai toh dusre insaan ko bhi woh baatein nehi karni chahiye. Hum sab ko apni relationship ki respect karni chahiye."

In another conversation on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, No Filter With Neha, Kartik Aaryan revealed that he has been away from any kind of relationship for too long now, and emphasized that he had been single all this while. However, the actor added that he now has time for love in his life and is ready to fall for someone.
