The federal government has started preparations for the Joint Services Parade to celebrate Pakistan Day on March 23 at Shakarparian Parade Ground located in the capital city Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to details, the preparations are underway for a grand parade where the armed forces, along with Rangers, FC, and police units, will march together in unity.

Women will also play a significant role in the parade.

The parade will showcase Pakistan's latest military equipment including the modern jets of the Pakistan Air Force like the JF-17 Thunder and F-16s.

Traditional floats representing the rich and diverse cultures of federal units will add to the beauty of the event.

Ministry of Defence had already written letters to the ministries, divisions, and chief secretaries of the four provinces, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan seeking lists of officials by February 15 who are to be invited to the Pakistan Day Parade.

The Ministry of Defence had already dispatched similar letters to the President House, Prime Minister House, National Assembly, and Senate secretariats.

As per tradition, the President of Pakistan attends the prestigious event as the chief guest in the presence of the prime minister, cabinet members, senior civil and military officers, and diplomats based in Islamabad. Meanwhile, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has also started beatification work and plantation at and around the parade ground.

It's a day to celebrate Pakistan's unity, strength, and cultural diversity, as people from all walks of life come together to commemorate the nation's achievements and progress.
