Unidentified persons shot dead a senior nurse in Nowshera Cantonment on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to reports, Rukhsana, who was serving at DHQ Hospital, was going to her workplace when she was sprayed with bullets, resulting in her instant death.
The unidentified assailants, however, managed to escape from the spot.
No FIR of the incident had been registered till the filing of this report.
Rukhsana’s body was shifted to the DHQ hospital where her fellow nurses gathered to mourn her death.
