Sirbaz Khan first Pakistani to climb 10 peaks above 8,000m

Pakistani young mountaineer Sirbaz Khan has become the first Pakistani climber to climb 10 of the world’s highest 14 peaks above 8,000 meters after scaling Mt Kanchenjunga (in Nepal) 8,586m on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In an Instagram post, Sirbaz Khan said, “Born and raised in the mountains, I have always felt and believed that I am made to climb. And now, Kailas has added another dimension to it. I would like to take this moment and thank kailasgear who have provided me with all this equipment that I am using on my current expedition. It has been a great experience using Kailas equipment and now that we look towards the summit push, I am positive that Kailas's support will help me achieve my target. Summit push starts soon.”
He said that with people’s prayers, the green flag will be raised at the summit of Mt Kanchenjunga very soon.
Alpine Adventure Guide Secretary Karar Haider also congratulated Sirbaz Khan for becoming the first Pakistani climber to climb 10 of the world’s highest 14 peaks above 8,000.
Haideri said that Sirbaz Khan launched his climbing in 2016 and in the same month pleged himself to ascend Nepal Mountain.
He also aims to climb the G1 mountain.
