A Serene Air flight made a successful emergency landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
The UAE-bound plane had a ‘technical glitch’ minutes after it took off the Lahore airport for Dubai near the Sheikhupura division airspace.
The captain kept the plane in the air for more than 30 minutes before making the emergency landing, sources said.
After dumping the fuel, the plane landed back safely and there are no reports of any casualties.
Passengers have been moved to the lounge. Engineers are inspecting the aircraft, the sources added.
The plane will be dispatched after removing the technical problem, the private airline administration said.
