Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)  leader Omar Ayub has said foreign investment will come to the country if the constitution is adhered to.

“We want investment and trade to grow in Pakistan and this is possible if the rule of law prevails,” he said while addressing a press conference in Peshawar on Monday.

Flanked by former PTI minister Shibli Faraz and other leaders, Omar added: “We have a meeting with the American ambassador today and one thing we have convinced is that talks will be on an equal level.

“The world has to respect the Pak laws. There will be no London plan under the supremacy of the constitution.”

Shibli Faraz said there was a gathering of PTI leaders from all over Pakistan and party affairs came under discussion.

He added “As the gathering took up Imran Khan’s jail term and political persecution, it reiterated the resolve to stand firm for the release of the party founder and other detainees.

He said the PTI welcomed the top court decision in the case of the reserved seats.

He said the government has lost moral grounds to rule as it’s not a public representative government

The former minister said: “A political and legal battle is going to start. Imran Khan is in jail for the nation‘s future”

“Remember, no foreign investment will come here under such circumstances

“Muhammad bin Salman has special respect in Tehreek-e-Insaf. The OIC Foreign Ministers meeting was held twice in our rule

“We welcome Mohammad Bin Salman to Pakistan

“There are many questions on the current government

“This is a government that does not represent the people

“We expect the law and constitution to make its way.”
