The CTD police on Monday arrested another suspect from a mobile market in Wazirabad in the gun attack case on former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan during his long march, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The CCTV footage of the arrest of the suspect also surfaced. 

The name of the arrested youth is Ahsan and he belongs to Sohdra town of Wazirabad. 

The CTD sources informed that so far police arrested five suspects including main suspect Naveed and investigations were underway. 

A gunman opened fire at the container of Imran Khan when it reached near Allahwala Chowk, Wazirabad on Thursday during party’s long march slightly wounding the former prime minister in the leg and killing one of his supporters. Nine other people also were hurt.

The gunman was immediately arrested, and police later released a video of him in custody, allegedly confessing to the shooting and saying he acted alone. 

Imran Khan, 70, underwent surgery at Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore and the hospital discharged him yesterday evening suggesting him to take a two-week rest. 

The PTI chief during his press conference from the hospital on Sunday announced to resume his long march on Tuesday (tomorrow) from the same place where it was halted and added that Shah Mehmood Qureshi would lead the march.
