Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has changed the schedule of its long march again and now it will resume on Thursday instead of Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A couple of hours ago, Imran Khan announced to resume his long march on Wednesday at 2 pm instead of Tuesday.
The national cricket team will face New Zealand in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup on Wednesday which has compelled the PTI leaders to change the long march resumption date from Wednesday to Thursday.
Earlier, addressing a press conference on Sunday Imran Khan announced that his party’s long march will resume on Tuesday (November 8) from the “same place where he was shot in Wazirabad.
Now the long march will start from Wazirabad at 2 pm on Thursday.
It has been decided in the party meeting held here on Monday that the PTI long march will be resumed from Wazirabad under the leadership of PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
Faisalabad PTI activists will be led by Asad Umar.
Taking to Twitter, Asad Umar said that in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the march will be led by Ali Amin from southern districts, Mahmood Khan and Murad Saeed from Malakand region, Pervez Khattak will lead the march from Peshawar and Hazara region.
He further stated that he would lead the march from Toba Tek Singh on Friday, Jhang on Saturday, Faisalabad on Sunday, Jaranwala on Monday, Chiniot on Tuesday and Sargodha on Wednesday.
Imran Khan will join the long march from Rawalpindi when the PTI caravans will reach in the city.
