The Safe Cities Authority’s equipment worth millions of rupees has been stolen in Chuhng police precincts, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported Sunday.
The Safe Cities Authority has moved the Chohang police to get a case registered, stating equipment worth Rs3.4 million was stolen.
The request was made by Traffic Supervisor Muhammad Tariq Aziz.
On October 25, a similar incident took place in Raiwand City where the authority lost its equipment worth Rs45,7800.
In September, unidentified thieves broke into the Safe Cities Authority’s cabinet at the traffic signal and took away with Rs5m equipment.
The security supervisor Sajid made the complaint.
