Police have arrested a woman for selling her daughter in Hafizabad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
Police said Samira sold her daughter for Rs500,000 to 40-year-old Suleman..
He forcibly tied the knot with the girl and subjected her to torture, the lawmen added.
Police registered a case and are investigating.
The DPO took notice and sought a report from the SDPO Saddar Circle.
