‘Dua’ was held for the recovery of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) supremo Asif Ali Zardari after Friday prayers at the residence of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“Asif Zardari is in hospital, and his morale is high. We had contacted him to inquire after his health,” Chaudhry Shujaat said.
“Imran Khan should first announce his agenda for the long march. As the number one item of his agenda, he should propose a solution to reduce the prices of essential commodities for the poor, not elections,” he stated.
“Elections are already included in his agenda. First of all, he should propose a solution to reduce the prices of flour, sugar, pulses and other essential commodities,” he added.
“The army is working according to the Constitution. The internal system of the army is very strong. Civilians and politicians should not interfere in the affairs of the army,” he stressed.
“After assuming the post, the army chief has neither baradari nor any regional identity. Only Pakistan is his ‘baradari’,” he pointed out.
