Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice Chairman Maryam Nawaz has reached London where she was warmly welcomed by the Sharif family members and party supporters, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
A large number of PML-N leaders and workers accorded warm welcome to the daughter of former prime minister and party Quaid Nawaz Sharif.
Dozens of PML-N supporters gathered outside the Avenfield House on London’s Park Lane for a glimpse the PML-N vice-president who met her father after a gap of about three years.
Security was put on high alert. Her brother received her at the airport. Maryam Nawaz's son Junaid Safdar and Dr Adnan accompanied her.
Reportedly, before leaving, she offered fateha on the graves of her grandfather, grandmother and mother.
She left the county for London on a private airline flight yesterday.
She is due to meet her father Nawaz Sharif and discuss the future line of action with her father.
According to family sources, she is likely to stay in London for a month.
