Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) convener Bashir Memon Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to arrive on Oct 21, and a reception committee has finalized the arrangements, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference on Friday, he shed light on the significance of Sharif's homecoming.
He emphasized that efforts are being made to ensure that a large number of party workers can participate in the welcome event.
Regarding transportation, Memon stated, "We will be using trains to transport our workers. Since there is limited capacity, not everyone can attend, but we are doing our best to accommodate as many as possible."
Former police officer Bashir Memon said all committee members would also travel by train to demonstrate unity and support for their leader's return.
He further stressed that PML-N members would strictly adhere to discipline and regulations during their journey.
Memon expressed that Nawaz Sharif's decision regarding political alliances, including those with parties like the JUI-F, MQM, and PML-Q, would be of paramount importance.
Former Sindh governor Zubair Umar said that Nawaz Sharif is returning home after an absence of four years.
He said two trains will be run for workers from Karachi to Lahore to welcome the leader.
He believed that Sharif's return may hold the key to determining future political alliances.
