Pakistan Bureau of Statistics Friday reported the yearly inflation rate to be at 37.07%, the 24NewsHD TV channel reports.
The weekly inflation rate was reported to have increased by 0.11%.
The prices of 19 necessary items were increased in a week, 16 decreased.
The prices of tomatoes, onions, garlic and potatoes were hiked by 12.45, 11.96, 2.59 and 1.81 percent respectively.
Prices of pulses and eggs were also increased by 1.27 and 0.84%.
Beef, bread, LPG and firewood prices were also increased.
Chicken, pulses, ghee and flour prices dropped in the ongoing week.
