All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association (APPSCA) has announced reopening all private educational institutions in Rawalpindi and Islamabad after days of unrest and road closures due to protests in the D-Chowk area.

According to Dr. Malik Abrar Hussain, President of the APPSCA, all private schools and colleges in the twin cities will resume regular operations starting Monday.

He expressed hope that the ongoing protests in Islamabad will not continue, allowing for smooth traffic flow and a return to normal life.

Dr Malik clarified that the decision to close the institutions was taken in the best interest of students’ safety.

"We had to prioritize the safety of the children amid the road closures, but now, as we expect the situation to improve, all private educational institutions will open as usual from tomorrow," Malik stated.

The Association remains hopeful that there will be no further disruptions to the academic calendar in the coming days. He urged the government and political parties to find an appropriate solution to the protest without disturbing education activities.
