The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Peshawar chapter arrested a man involved in hawala and seized foreign currency, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to officials, the FIA recovered Rs82000, 1000 Afghani currency, 10 Darham and 50 sterling pounds from the shop of the arrested accused. 

The FIA launched an operation against the illegal business of dollars and currency exchange at Chauk Yadgar Peshawar on intelligence-based information.

During the operation, the FIA team taking action also sealed a number of shops running illegal business of money exchanges in Chauk Yadgar.
