According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, he explained that the Toshakhana case no longer falls under the jurisdiction of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) due to new amendments, which exempt cabinet decisions from NAB laws. He added that the Al-Qadir Trust decision was also made by the cabinet, and the PTI founder faces allegations of misuse of authority in this case.
Barrister Gauhar emphasized that the case should now be dismissed based on merit following the Supreme Court's recent ruling.
Responding to the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) decision, Barrister Gauhar criticized the rejection of their all four petitions, calling it a wrongful and malicious act. He argued that PTI had not yet even presented arguments on the petitions.
Over the issue of the PTI rally on September 8, he stated that holding public rallies is a fundamental right, and PTI will not cancel their planned rally. Gauhar assured that a large and peaceful rally will be held on September 8 for the release of PTI's founder, Imran Khan, without causing any inconvenience to the public.

He said it will be written in history that thieves are on the loose but protestors will be punished for 3 years.
