At a time when the dust has hardly settled on incidents of rape with girls at a school in Gujranwala, there is another one to jolt the people’s conscience as at Gumtala Chowk locality of Shakargarh, not far away from Gujranwala, a private schoolteacher subjected a sixth-class student to rape and fled, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The police said that Zia Abdur Rehmand took 13-year-old Saim to a room after school timings and committed sodomy with him.
And when the child’s condition deteriorated, the teacher fled, the police said, and added that an FIR of the incident had been registered on the complaint of the boy’s maternal uncle.
