The former chief minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar is likely to be arrested by Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

He is wanted by the ACE regional office of Dera Ghazi Khan for his illegal occupation of a valuable commercial piece of land.

This land is owned by the provincial government and located in Fort Munro, the headquarter of Koh Sulaiman Tehsil.

Now, this land is being used by Usman Buzdar's brother Umar Buzdar.

According to the anti-corruption sources, the official summoned Usman Buzdar twice to appear before the ACE regional directorate Dera Ghazi Khan but did not comply with the order.

Usman Buzdar has been given the last chance today (Saturday), after which criminal procedure will be implemented.

In addition, former Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was accused of corruption with the alleged connivance of highway department officers and contractors.

He was alleged to have approved the use of poor-quality tiles worth crores of rupees in the construction of a 70-km long road in Tunsa Sharif.
