Pakistani actor and director Yasir Hussain released a theatre play, 'Monkey Business', which is currently being performed in Arts Council Karachi from 5th April to 20th April.
The drama was produced by Inkorporate Digital and LOIQ Films.
Yasir Hussain and Umer Alam are the main leads of the show.
The first show was attended by Yasir's wife Iqra Aziz and all the celebrities including Saboor Aly, Ali Ansari, Aijaz Aslam, Faysal Quraishi, and others.
The video clips of Monkey Business are making rounds on social media. In the drama serial, Yasir Hussain and Umer Alam are seen dressed as women, performing to Bollywood songs like Saki Saki and Say Shava Shava.
"Get ready for a rollercoaster of laughter! Yasir Hussain brings his signature wit and charm to the stage in Monkey Business—a play that’s all about comedy, chaos, and clever storytelling. Don’t miss out on the fun", the caption reads.
Unfortunately, the show did not go well with the netizens, and it garnered negative responses from them.
Some users are expressing anger towards Yasir Hussain, who is quite vocal about banning international artists and projects in Pakistan yet promoting Bollywood songs in his dramas.
A social media user wrote, “What else can we expect from Yasir Hussain?”.
Another one said, “They criticize Indian content on TV, but in their private parties and dramas, they promote all the Indian songs, culture, and content—what hypocrisy by Yasir Hussain and people like him”.
Another one said, “This is the sad reality of so-called Muslims—they will die like this, while dancing.
Another user wrote, “Pakistanis can only make good dramas; they should stick to that.”
Here were gathered the clicks of all the celebrities who attended the show and enjoyed it alot.
