The Islamabad police have launched preparations to deal with a possible sit-in in the federal capital by the Opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The Islamabad police have started training of young policemen selected from different divisions of the federal capital.
According to a footage obtained by the 24NewsHD TV channel, the young cops can be seen being imparted training about how to dodge the stone-pelting and how to rescue important personalities from a charged crowd.
Meanwhile, the Islamabad police have sought additional tear-gas shells and rubber bullets.
A budget of millions of rupees is required to block the participants of the sit-in.
Services of Rangers and FC would also be acquired. Reinforcements from Azad Jammu and Kashmir and other provinces can also be sought, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
