A woman who came to attend a court hearing was shot dead in the name of honour by her father and brother outside Judicial Complex building in Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the initial investigation report, the woman came to the Judicial Complex, Peshawar to attend the court hearing. But her father Shah Wali and brother Nauman opened fire on her, killing her on the spot.
The father-son duo confessed to the killing which they said was committed in the name of honour.
Police sent the dead body of the woman to a city hospital for autopsy while the investigation team collected empty shells and other evidence from the place of crime.
According to the police, the accused father and son were trying to flee the scene but police chased them and rounded them up.
Police also recovered weapons from their possession.
