Packaged milk prices soar in Karachi

The Tetra Pak milk company has increased the prices of packaged milk in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The retail price of one litre milk pack has been increased by Rs20 to Rs240.

The retail price of one-and-a-half-litre milk pack has been increased by Rs25 to Rs335.

The retail price of a carton containing 24 packs of one litre milk has been fixed at Rs2,880.

The wholesale price of one litre milk pack has been fixed at Rs226.50 while that of a carton at Rs2717.50.

The new prices will be applicable from December 15.
