The shopkeeper, who was earlier accused of purchasing a Toshakhana watch from former prime minister Imran Khan, Thursday denied buying the watch, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In an interview, he said that he had even sold his shop to avoid the issue. “But I am still being blamed for purchasing the watch,” he regretted.
Shafiq alleged a fake letter pad of his shop had been used to show that he purchased the watch from Imran Khan.
He also warned to take a legal action if he was dragged into the issue again.
