Due to the shortage of flu vaccine and rising prices of insulin, Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) approved registration of five more insulin products, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
One product each of heparin and flu vaccine was also approved by the board.
The approval was given by the Drap Registration Board on the direction of Health Minister Dr Nadeem Jan.
The Federal Health Minister said that the initiative will improve the supply of medicines.
The process of registration of medicines is on fast track, said the Health Minister.
The Health Minister said that government is taking necessary steps for uninterrupted supply of life-saving medicines.
