Security forces killed five terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Tank district of KP, ISPR said on Friday.

"On the night between December 7 and 8, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in the general area of Mullazai in the Tank district." the military media wing said.

It added after an intense firefight, the troops killed five terrorists and recovered arms and ammunition.

The dead remained involved in numerous terrorist activities against law enforcement agencies and innocent civilians, the ISPR said, adding that the hunt for the terrorists was on.

The security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the terrorism.
