Iman Aly reveals why she doesn’t prefer to work in summers

Pakistani model-turned-actress Iman Ali appeared as a guest on the talk show ‘Gup Shab’ hosted by the talented actor and host Vasay Chaudhry and talked about her preferences for scripts and seasons for the projects.


During the questions and answers held in the show between Iman and the audience, one of the fans asked her to disclose a project she wished she thought she could done best.


In response, Iman named the 2016 hit drama ‘Dillagi’ starring Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat.


“I wish I had done that script but its shooting was done in summer. I chose not to take on the project due to its summer shooting schedule although I really liked Dillagi’s script.


Speaking about her seasonal preferences, Iman said in a lighthearted way that she prefers to work in the fall and spring since she believes these times are best for bringing her characters to life.


“If I accept but can't perform well, then what's the point of doing that”, she stated.



The lady also said that she comes across good scripts but she has extremely selective tastes.


“I do get approached with good scripts which is why I remember Dillagi. There was also another one…by the director with whom I don’t wish to work.”


Her statement was indirectly towards the Pakistani writer Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar but she did not name him.


On the other hand, Vasay said “Are you talking about Khalil-Ur Rehman Qamar?”


Ali changed her face direction saying, "I don't know... u know well."


In the same interview, Iman said that she had opted out of the project freely, without being fired, just three days before the start of filming for a movie written by Qamar.




Iman Ali is one of the prominent actresses in the Pakistani showbiz industry who 


Ali made her film debut with a leading role in the 2007 thriller film Khuda Kay Liye, for which she won a Lux Style Award for Best Actress.
